In 2019, a group of young adults found themselves frustrated with a nightlife that seemed to revolve around one thing: alcohol. They were looking for something more, a social scene where the pressure to drink wasn’t the entry price. The options for those choosing not to drink were limited, and the lack of alternatives left them wanting.

One evening, they decided to shake things up.

SOBAR was born out of this desire for a new kind of social experience. The group envisions a space where people can connect, relax, and enjoy themselves without the pressure to drink. A haven for meaningful interactions, SOBAR is more than just a bar—it is a cultural shift.
